Hi,
I'm new to MARK and learning as I go, however I have come to a point where I would appreciate some assistance. I am looking at the persistance rate of carcasses of two species over two seasons. I have created two seperate .inp files, one for each species. Using the 'Nest Survival' module I appear to be getting the right results, however I now wish to test the hypothesis that persistence rate depends on season but this relationship is different dependent on species. I would like to test the overall model: Persistence rate ~ season + species + species*season.
To do this;
Do I amalgamate my .inp files into one file?
Can I use '0''s and '1''s to differentiate between species and season? As an example
Species A, season A = /*   16  */  1 10 15  1 1 1  0 ;
Species A, season B = /*    3  */  1 29 29  0 1 0  0 ;
Species B, season A = /*   55  */  1  3  5  1 1 1  1 ;
Species B, season B = /*   47  */  1  1  3  1 1 0  1 ;
How do I identify the covariates in the model that I want to test? I think I may need help in designing the models...
I don't seem to be able to attach my .inp files to this message but I could email them if that would help
cheers
Blair
