chat adjustment and popan derived parameters

Postby mldavis13 » Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:23 am

I found text explaining that the functions get.real, summary.mark, and compute.real take a newly specified chat (using function adjust.chat) into account when calculating the values,se, and CI for parameters. Does this also apply to other parameter extraction functions such as popan.derived and model.average, or are further calculations necessary?

Thanks,

Miranda

Yes. If you ever have any doubt about issues like this, simply try it with c=1 and then c=10 and you should see a big difference in the std error.
