new appendix | 'data bootstrap'

I've just uploaded a 'late draft' of a new appendix (G), which covers a procedure that Gary implemented to explore the effects of non-independence on estimates. If you're working with a system where fates among individuals is potentially non-independent, *and* if the 'structure' (identity) of the non-independence can be specified (e.g., if individuals are known members of a breeding pair, or litters mates, etc), then you'll probably want to have a look at this appendix. You can grab it here:

Note (1) -- 'late draft' means subject to change. True, all chapters are subject to change, but a 'draft' chapter is more likely to be subject to change in the very near future. Caveat emptor.

Note (2) -- yes, I know the available appendices look like there has been a 'point deletion mutation' (A, B, C, D, F, G), but that is because appendix E (the MCMC chapter) isn't ready for release yet.
