CANSSI Distinguished Post-doctoral Fellowship

Hi all,

I’d like to make you aware of an opportunity for a post-doctoral fellowship through the Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute (CANSSI)’s Distinguished Post-doctoral Fellowship program. The program matches projects proposed by groups of supervisors at Canadian universities with post-doctoral fellows. This year, Dr. Joanna Mills Flemming (Statistics, Dalhousie University), Dr. Yolanda Morbey (Biology, University of Western Ontario), and myself (Statistics, University of Western Ontario) have submitted a proposal for a project on modelling regional movements of radio/acoustic tagged animals.

The program provides support of $70,000 (CAD) for each of two years plus benefits, and travel and research support.
