Introduction to Estimation and Modelling of Ecological Populations
Instructors: Joanne Potts and Darryl MacKenzie
Dates: 18-22 June 2018
Location: Imperial College, London, UK

This course is designed for the beginner- and intermediate-level researcher who is wanting a broad overview of available methods for estimating and modelling ecological populations, with an emphasis on abundance-based measures. Methods to be covered include:
    Generalised linear models
    Study design
    Multivariate analyses
    Distance sampling
    Non-spatial capture-recapture models (closed and open population)
    Spatial capture-recapture models
    Occupancy models
Cost:
The course fee is GBP £500, which includes:
    Registration fees
    Instruction and course materials
Participants must provide their own laptop computer.
