This two-day course, which is being held in Kelowna, BC, from the 20th to 21st of November 2014, introduces users to Bayesian analysis using JAGS and R. JAGS is a free open source program to describe and fit Bayesian models using the BUGS language. The course is suitable for anyone with basic R skills and experience with linear regression and ANOVA.
The course will be taught by Dr. Joseph Thorley, R.P.Bio. of Poisson Consulting Ltd.. Joe Thorley is a professional fish population biologist with over 6 years extensive BUGS programming experience.
