addictive time effect in gemaco

Postby Gourlay » Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:01 am

Hello,

I have some pbs when I write in gemaco an additive effect for my transition matrix:
I have 3 states, 4 events, 2 groups, 6 occasions of capture and my transition matrix is:

* µ - -
µ' * - -
- - * -
- - - *

I would like µ=µ' from time 2 to time 5 and an additive effect between group and time and, for the first time µ and µ' different + group effect
so I write:

f(1 2).[t(2,3,4,5)+g] + f.t(1).g

In IVFV, parameters of "f.t(1).g" looks like ok but it seems not good for the last parameter of "f(1 2).[t(2,3,4,5)+g]". I don't understand where is the pb ?

Thanks in advance,

Marie-Lucile

Hello Marie Lucile,
Use instead the formula

"t(2:5).[t+g] + f.t(1).g"

By this way, t+g applies only to biological parameters from time 2 to 5.
I removed f because there is no state effect.

Amicalement,
