U-CARE problems

Postby MSoledad » Fri Apr 18, 2008 2:13 pm

Hello!

I’ve got problems with program U-CARE, it’s not running!

I’ve been reading a previous topic about the same problem…but after successful installation following Mr. Choquet instructions, the black window appears and disappears immediately …

I’ve got Windows Vista, could it be a problem?

Thanks in advance!

It almost always is a contributing problem...I'll get Remi to confirm, but the usual culprit is you need to install/run things in administrator mode.

How is the administrator mode? What I have to do?

Google is your friend. ;-)

Search for 'Vista administrator mode' and you should find any number of links that will help.

Of course, the smartest thing to do would be to dump Vista and install XP, but thats another story. ;-)

You are right! Google is a good option!!!

Unfortunately my new notebook has Windows Vista. I’ve never wanted it. I tried to dump Vista from the beginning but there are no drivers for install XP in it!!...It was a mistake! :?
Now I’m trying to become use to with this new Windows version!

Thank you very much!!!
