Thanks. Yes, all 701 were not checked each time. We checked an average of 140 each occasion. I got the pmix values backwards; the true sigma should be 238. Finally, I doubled the density estimate because it was a groups=sex model so I doubled the 0.06 for each sex to 0.12 for both sexes. These estimates look a lot better:
NCapt NAnimal NRecapt MLLoglk MLDens MLseDen MLg0 MLseg0 MLSigma MLseSig
193 41 152 -937.059 0.1358 0.0233 0.04634 0.00508 249.91 15.88
122 35 87 -600.653 0.1273 0.0245 0.045 0.00674 232.35 18.59
152 33 119 -721.225 0.118 0.0224 0.05767 0.00714 223.05 15.5
149 33 116 -712.558 0.1121 0.0213 0.05415 0.00688 236.09 16.54
185 35 150 -875.005 0.1115 0.0205 0.05867 0.00657 245.39 15.55

Think I'm okay then?

Great. You really go above and beyond in helping others like me to muddle through this stuff Murray. Thanks.
