Closed population data with a time-varying covariate?

Postby sbonner » Mon Sep 20, 2021 9:06 pm

Hi all,

I'm looking for an example of data from a closed population with a time-varying continuous covariate that a student of mine might be able to use as an example in her work. The situation is somewhat unusual in that the time period has to be short enough that the population is closed but long enough that the covariate can change (meaningfully) over time. Unfortunately, we have not found anything representative in the literature, but I can imagine times when it could happen.

Please feel free to send me a direct e-mail if you can help (sbonner6 at uwo.ca).

Many thanks in advance!
