Rmark - uneven survey intervals

Hello,
A question with a mix of both R coding (Rmark) and theory.
I've surveyed several sites over a period of a year with a winter break in the middle. Number of surveys at each site has varied as well as the interval between surveys.
I realize that I can incorporate uneven time intervals within the "process.data" function ("time.intervals = ").
I can set intervals to days (rather meaningless for Phi) or alternatively I can calculate this as weeks (in which case i'd consolidate several site surveys into a single week).
Would I need to set my ch data with "." for dates when I surveyed one site but did not the others (could only do one site per night).
For example (excluded several sites):
