Telemetry + Random Subsamples

I recorded locations of radiomarked individuals by randomly selecting frequencies to track each day. I am thinking of using the joint live encounter-dead recovery (Barker's) model so that I can incorporate night tracking information. I want to do daily survival (vs. weekly) so that I can add weather variables. Are there parameter adjustments I can make to address the issue of the subsamples?
