MSORD formatting question

Postby bechaughey » Wed Mar 20, 2019 11:56 pm

Hello,

I am running an MSORD model with 6 primary periods containing 3,2,8,8,5 and 7 secondary periods.
I am trying to test goodness of fit using ORDSURVIV.
I have opened the turt_hist.dat file and been able to successfully run these and generate an output.

Opening the turt hist file in notepad++, the turt hist file is structured: ID space capturehistory space space 1

I have set up my input file in the same structure (I have pasted a few lines below) and also have saved the file as a .dat file but am still getting an unrecognised input error. Does anyone have any ideas on anything I could be missing or advice to get this test running?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Bec,

I was able to run ORDSURVIV with the sub-sample you provided without errors. In notepad++, you can view invisible characters via the "View/Show Symbol/Show all characters" menu. If you don't see any extraneous characters in the file, then perhaps you should send me the data file and a screenshot of the program when you run it.
