I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, but hopefully somebody can help me.

I'm using RMark (a fantastic package by the way), and I would like to use the 'options' argument in 'make.mark.model' and/or 'mark.wrapper' to tell the function to use simulated annealing.

I tried just specifying 'options=SIMANNEAL' in the make.mark.model function and get this error:

Error in paste("proc estimate link" = SIMANNEAL) :
object "SIMANNEAL" not found

The help documentation says 'options' can request new or existing options that can be set in the estimate proc. Unfortunately I've no idea how to set these options in the estimate proc (or, truthfully, what the estimate proc is).

I've scoured through all the other resources I have available to me, and I can't figure this one out. If someone could shed some light, that would be most appreciated.

Sorry, dumb question, and I should have known better! I didn't put quotations around SIMANNEAL!
