announcements (new versions, changes, bugs, installation problems...) related to program MARK
by Eleni » Tue Apr 09, 2019 8:14 am
We've looking for an occupancy data set with covariates to try out a Bayesian variable selection algorithm and we came across the example described in chapter 21 using NSO_SSoccupancy.inp but we couldn't find this file in the data folder that accompanies MARK.
Thanks for your help

Yes -- because the vast majority of the files used in the 'Gentle Introduction' are not 'bundled' with MARK during the installation, but rather are made available as part of a .zip rchive you can get from the site where you download the book. [In fact, this is a FAQ.]

No worries. The reality of many FAQ (perhaps including this one) is that they reflect a source of confusion that should be corrected by developers, not users. In this instance, having all the book files installed with MARK. But there are any number of reasons why that would be easier said than done.
