Presence Shuts Down When I Run Models with Survey Covariates

Hi,
I've used Presence to run models to determine bat occupancy and detection. I've been able to successfully run general models and models with site-level covariates. However, when I try to run models with survey covariates the program sends an error message saying presence has encountered an error and will shut down.

I've run survey covariates before in another project and didn't have a problem. As far as I can see everything is entered correctly...missing values have "-", continuous covariates have been standardized. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? I'm at a loss.

Thanks

Does this happen with any of your survey covariates in the data file, or one in particular? Triple check for stray white spaces (eg tabs, spaces, etc) especially in the cells that have a '-'. A '-' is ok but a ' - ' will cause problems, and it only takes one...

Were you able to resolve your problem? If not, could you email me a zipfile containing your project folder off-list?

Jim

I'm having the exact same problem, was there ever any resolution to this?

Thanks,

I haven't heard of anyone experiencing this problem since the first post, so nothing has been done about it. Can you send me the latest zipfile in your project folder?
