Null Model Issue

Postby mp5693 » Sun Jun 27, 2021 2:38 pm

I am currently working on some models via Presence focusing on a single data set in a prescribed environment. For some reason, the model I am using in Presence is tying with my null model. The amount of data I have collected occurred over several months in several locations. I am focusing on a single bird species, and I am looking at burned areas vs non-burned areas. Data is based on observed sightings vs non-sightings.

I would like to figure out why all my data is equaling my null model.

I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks.

It could be due to model mis-specification (seems unlikely for the simple model you described), or an issue with the data, or an error in data/covariate input. If you send me a copy of the most recent backup zipfile in your project folder, I'd be happy to take a look.
