Co-occurrence model average estimates for detection

Postby Estevo » Sun May 29, 2016 4:31 pm

Dear friends

Sorry in advance if this is a silly question.

I am trying to obtain model average estimates of the detection parameters (I.e., pA, rA, pB, rBA, rBa) through PRESENCE software. Averages for occupancy come just fine as single estimates for each parameter. However, when it comes to the detection parameters, Presence gives a model average for each survey (in my case, 10 different surveys, so 10 different model average estimates for each parameter). I would like to know how can I calculate a single model average estimate for each detection parameter? It doesn`t have to be through the software; I can calculate it by hand if it`s necessary. Can I calculate the average using all those 10 values that Presence gives to me?. In addition, how can I obtain the standard deviation for these single average estimates?

My question might be more math-related, but I would appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Best
