single season, two species notation

Postby not_present » Tue May 24, 2016 12:18 pm

On the help page and in the MacKenzie et al. 2004 paper, they use gamma as the species co-detection parameter. The output from the model lists delta as a parameter. Are they the same? If not, what is delta? Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion. In the 2-sp model, phi is the species co-occurrence parameter, and delta is the species co-detection parameter. My guess is that the notation was changed so it would not be confused with the gamma parameter in the multi-season model.
