Input structure for open population data

Postby onyva » Thu Jul 06, 2017 5:31 am

I am working in my end master project with data from camera traps and we want to assess how is the efectivness of estimating abundance when we know real population and we have some individuals captured. We are analyzing assumption of open population with POPAN in MARK in two cases: 1) capture probabilities vary among individuals and 2) capture probabilities vary among camera traps when we use differents lures placed in some of those cameras. My question would be how could I create the input for the case number 2? We have 40 cameras capturing individuals during 15 days with one observation per day as encounter ocassion.
Traditional inputs in MARK is created putting time in columns and capture individuals in rows establishing a matrix with 0 and 1, but in the case number 2 I am very lost.

Thank you and sorry for the question if it is already answered but I did not find anything about this.
