Mark-resight in MARK

Postby manuel_spinola » Thu Mar 16, 2017 9:25 pm

Dear members,

I am running a mark-resight analysis for only one ‘primary’ sampling and 10 ‘secondary’ sighting occasions.

The resulting encounter history file is:

0100000000 1;
1000000000 1;
0000010111 1;
0000100010 1;
0000110000 1;
0000000000 1;
0000010000 1;
0000011000 1;
0100000110 1;
0100101000 1;
0000000000 1;

Unmarked Seen Group=1;
126;

Marked Unidentified Group=1;
1 0 1 2 2 1 3 1 0 0;

Is the data input correct?

Hi Manuel,

Assuming these data are intended for the logit-normal model with individually-identifiable marks, the input format appears to be correct. Check out chapter 18 of "The Book" for more info about input files for these models: http://www.phidot.org/software/mark/doc ... chap18.pdf.

Cheers,
Brett
