animal never released message

Postby Belinda Cannell » Thu Dec 10, 2009 2:57 am

I am using robust design with a dataset from nestbox checks of penguins from 1993- 2008. Nestboxes were checked regularly each month, with the exception of no checks in 2004 and 2005. The number of checks varies each month, from 6-21. So I have set the time intervals, and the inp file looks like this
/*51539*/1100000100000000000000000000000000100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 1;
When I go to run the model S(.), Gamma"(.) gamma'(.) p(t)=c(t), I get an error message with Animal never released and a list of 0000... But I have thooughly checked my inp file, and every bird has at least one 1 in the list. I have been trying for 3 days now to get this to work, and as this is the first model of a series that I want to test, I can't move forward. Any suggestions?? :(

I am having the same problem with one of my input files. Does anyone know what the reason for this is?

I can't tell from one line of input. I'd be happy to diagnose if you send me the full dataset and primary/secondary periods. Even better would be the Mark input file created by "Run/Save current model structure for running later".
